Driving directions

From south, including San Francisco Airport:

• Take US-101 North toward San Francisco.
• Take I-80 East toward Bay Bridge.
• Take the Fourth Street exit toward Embarcadero.
• Turn a slight left onto 3rd Street.
• 3rd Street becomes Kearny Street.
• Turn right onto Bush Street. Our building is one block down on the right. We are at the Bush/Sansome intersection.

From north of San Francisco:

• Take US-101 South toward San Francisco.
• Cross Golden Gate Bridge. There is a $5 toll.
• Follow signs for US-101 to downtown/Lombard Street. 101S becomes Lombard
• Turn right onto Van Ness Ave. (still US-101S)
• Turn left onto Broadway St.
• Continue through Broadway tunnel/Robert C. Levy tunnel.
• Turn slight right onto Columbus Ave.
• Turn slight right onto Montgomery St.
• Turn left onto Bush St. Our building is one block down on the right. We are at the Bush/Sansome intersection.

From the East/East Bay/Oakland Airport:

• Merge onto I-80 West toward San Francisco Bay Bridge. $4 toll. Cross the bridge.
• Take the Fremont St. exit.
• Turn left onto Fremont St.
• Fremont St. becomes Front St.
• Turn left onto Pine St.
• Turn left onto Montgomery St.
• Turn left onto Bush St. Our building is one block down on the right. We are at the Bush/Sansome intersection.

BART/MUNI/Caltrain Directions

From points in San Francisco via MUNI:
Take any train to Montgomery Street Station stop. Follow directions below.

From points in the East Bay via BART:

• Board any Daly City or SFO/Millbrae bound train.
• Detrain at Montgomery Street Station stop.
• Surface from the Montgomery Street Station through the Sansome/Sutter Exit.

Once above ground, head northeasterly on Sansome Street – you will be walking away from Market Street. A flower stand and a Walgreen’s Drug Store will be in plain view on your right at the intersection of Sansome Street and Bush Street.

We are located directly across the street from the flower stand. Through the main entrance take the elevator to the seventh floor and you will find Posit Science.

From points South on the Peninsula via BART:

• Board any northbound train.
• Detrain at the Montgomery Street Station stop.
• Follow directions above.

From points South on the Peninsula via Caltrain:
Board any San Francisco (northerly) bound train. Detrain at the San Francisco-4th and King Street Station. From the platform you will enter the main station building. Once inside, head towards the right-hand exits towards the San Francisco Municipal Railway (“MUNI”) platform located at the center of King Street. Purchase your ticket from the vending machine located on the platform. Board any train on the far side of the platform.

Take the light-rail train to the Montgomery Street Station. Follow directions above.

From points North over the Golden Gate Bridge via bus:
Golden Gate Transit offers a variety of options to cross from Marin County to San Francisco via bus or ferry. For details please visit: www.goldengate.org or www.511.org.

Parking

Here are three nearby financial district parking garages – there are many more:

1. One Bush Garage (closest garage, most expensive) From Kearny Street turn right onto Bush Street – 3 blocks beyond Market Street. Proceed down Bush and get in the right-hand lane. At the end of the third block BEFORE the intersection of Battery Street and Bush Street, take a sharp right turn into the driveway of the subterranean garage of the One Bush building. After parking, surface through the building elevator into the glassed-in lobby. Proceed onto Bush Street (down which you have just driven). We are about 1/2 block up on the left.
2. Shell Building Garage -- From Kearny Street, turn right at California Street (5 blocks beyond Market Street). Proceed three blocks to Battery Street and turn right. Continue on Battery for one and a half blocks. The entrance to the Shell Building Garage is located on your right hand side. After parking, return to the street. Upon leaving garage walk South about 50 feet to the intersection of Bush/Battery. Our office is about a 1.5 blocks up Bush St.
3. Stockton/Sutter Garage (least expensive, most likely to have spaces, located 4 blocks from our office) From Kearny Street, turn left onto Sutter Street. This turn comes very quickly after Market Street, and you will need to quickly change lanes to be in the far left-hand lane in order to make the left turn onto Sutter. Once on Sutter Street move to the far right-hand lane and proceed two blocks. At the intersection of Sutter and Stockton, turn right onto Stockton, and then take another, immediate right-hand turn into the parking garage. After parking, take your ticket with you and exit onto Sutter Street from the lobby. Take a left through the exit and head downhill on Sutter Street. Walk 4 blocks to Sansome Street and take a left. Continue 1 block to the intersection of Sansome Street and Bush. Take a left at intersection, our office entrance is located on the left.
